Workplace Inclusion Charter

The Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter is a voluntary no-cost employer toolkit and recognition program to create more inclusive workplaces in the Bow Valley.

The Bow Valley Workplace Inclusion Charter Program is for:

  • Businesses of any size in the Bow Valley (Lake Louise, Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, West MD of Bighorn).

  • Human Resources Managers and Operations Directors usually lead the implementation of the commitments. We encourage all team members to be involved.

The Charter program supports employers to:

  • Sign a Declaration of Commitment to Workplace Inclusion.

  • Choose commitments for your business to implement by the end of the 2024 Charter commitment period.

  • Access free resources, training, & support to implement the commitments.

  • Be recognized as a Workplace Inclusion Champion (marketing collateral, certificates, and media coverage).

Inclusion charter aims to benefit Bow Valley employees, employers

“Everyone plays a role in the community to help us build a thriving valley. We’re all better off when we work together to support newcomers and diverse team members to succeed. We can open a lot of doors for people, but we need local businesses to help us make those connections with newcomers in the community. This is a really exciting opportunity for businesses.”
