Why this Commitment?
This commitment is designed to help your organization understand its strengths and weaknesses when it comes to disability awareness and your inclusive workplace. Through an education session, organizations can have candid conversation with disability service sector specialists who will work to dispel myths and empower organizations to be confident in their disability awareness and inclusion practices.
Evaluation Plan
To complete this action, email inclusiveworkplaces@vecova.ca by August 31, 2024 to register for a Disability Awareness & Inclusive Workplace Education session with Vecova. Sessions will be offered:
September 24, 2024, 9:00-12:00 (Room 212, Elevation Place, Canmore)
October 17, 2024, 9:00-12:00 (Room 212, Elevation Place, Canmore)
Training completed in previous years do not count towards the 2024 commitments. To complete this commitment, signatories need to send a representative to one of the 2024 training sessions. The training has been revamped with new content.
In January 2025, Vecova will compile a list of signatories whose representative(s) completed this commitment.
