Why this Commitment?
Official language fluency is the single biggest factor in successful integration. Regardless of job requirements, every Bow Valley local needs English language fluency to access important services, stay healthy, and settle here. Yet, many foreign-born locals tell us they are unaware of English language courses or unable to access them due to employment schedules.
This commitment helps remove a common barrier for newcomers to accessing language services. Our education partners are available to help your team discover more ways to hep locals to access the language learning they need.
Evaluation Plan
In January 2024, the Bow Valley Adult Learning Centre will ask you for:

State that:
Support for English language learning is a commitment your organization has made as part of the 2023 Workplace Inclusion Charter;
