This workshop will focus on building an organizational culture that supports inclusion and workplace accommodations. You will gain a deeper understanding of why inclusion matters in your workplace and the value of a diverse workforce.

We will explore inclusive hiring practices, understanding workplace accommodations and what resources employers can access when employing a person with a disability.

Kim is the Wellness Services Manager at Vecova. She has been with Vecova for the last 9 years focusing primarily on helping youth and adults with disabilities enter the workforce in Calgary, Rocky View and the Bow Valley. Kim's work centers around building inclusive practices in workplaces, schools and communities.

Annette Mastronardi, Regional Disability Program Specialist, Disability Related Employment Supports (DRES) 

Annette is the Specialist and Team Lead for Disability Related Employment Supports (DRES) for the Calgary area. The team includes Bob and Candace, and together they support the needs of Albertans who may need funding to overcome disability-related barriers within their training or employment environments.
