Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership (MHLIP)
The Medicine Hat Local Immigration Partnership (MHLIP) is a collaborative community initiative dedicated to improving integration and retention of newcomers.
MHLIP seeks to engage stakeholders including employers, agencies, community, and immigrants themselves to act as an incubator for ideas, measure trends, identify needs, and mobilize appropriate community resources to meet those needs. Together, we can strengthen our community’s ability to welcome, settle, integrate, attract, and retain newcomers.
Cultural diversity inspires creativity and drives innovation. Cultural diversity benefits a community economically and enriches it socially when all residents feel like a valued member of the community.
